The Microbrewers Handbook 2nd edition
The Microbrewers Handbook 2nd edition
About the author: Ted Bruning is a journalist who has worked in the brewing industry and pub trade for over 20 years. After a thorough and traditional grounding on local weekly newspapers Ted joined the licensed trades daily newspaper, the Morning Advertiser, as a reporter in 1986. In 1993 he joined the Campaign for Real Ales monthly membership newspaper, Whats Brewing, as deputy to legendary editor Roger Protz. Five years later Roger stepped down and Ted succeeded him, editing Whats Brewing for a further eight years and launching its colour supplement, Beer. He has now returned to freelancing.
Teds love of beer and pubs is reflected in his books, Historic Pubs in London (1998), Historic Inns of England (2000) and London by Pub (2001)
In The Microbrewers Handbook, Ted Bruning, leading beer author, guides you through all the practicalities of starting up your own microbrewery; everything from how to brew right through to finding a place of your own.
The handbook has been completely updated for this second edition and now includes illustrations to explain the process in more detail. There are case studies in every chapter describing how a selection of microbreweries started and the lessons they learnt along the way.
Indispensable if you are tempted to bolt together mash tun, copper and fermenters.
